After any Oral Surgery, we have found that certain steps must be followed and certain food and drinks must be avoided to minimize your discomfort.

Avoid for 7 Days After Surgery:
  • Carbonated Drinks
  • Spicy Foods
  • Using Straws
  • Acidic Juices
  • Tomato Juice or Soup
  • Spitting, swooshing, and exercising
  • Always remove any gauze before eating or drinking.
  • A soft food diet is advised for the first couple of days after the procedure.
  • It is also recommended not to use a straw for the first week because it will disturb the site.

  • A nutritionally balanced diet is essential for well-being, gaining back your strength, feeling less pain a healing quickly.
